68 gooses killed in flight by "lightning"!
This just came in on the ticker:
[link to www.wams.de]
[link to de.news.yahoo.com]

68 Barnacle Gooses (Nonnengänse) had been found dead hanging around in trees and bushes near Veenhusen in Germany today. All of them had a burned mark on their back and only some charred feathers and all points to the fact that they had been killed by lightning in flight!

That is kind of bizzare, as a lighning strike in flight would not burn all of them at one point on the back. The first URL whichs shows the dead birds, which donīt even show any burn marks at all.

Looks like to me someone is trying to hoodwink you all with this lightning bullshit. In the first place, geese instinctively avoid flying in lightning storms. A more likely scenario is that the geese were at a very high altitude when the Xclass solar flare/proton event/geomagnetic storm occured. I believe these birds were killed by ionizing radiation fron the Sun. This is exactly what one would expect during these circumstances

"the geese were at a very high altitude when the Xclass solar flare/proton event/geomagnetic storm occured."

They probably also bumped into some space debris while up there..

Interdimensional warrior: That was my thought, too. Geese are known to fly up to 10000 ft altitude.

How do you know somebody on the ground didnt kill them and then arrange the corpses in the trees and bushes for some kind of wierd occult ritual?

How do you know they were killed in flight?

Couldnt some kind of laser have caused those injuries?

HAARP affects the ionosphere, so the geese couldnīt have been hit even at max altitude. A head-on flare burst seems more likely.

Maybe it was Dick Cheneyīs inflammatory rhetoric.
Maybe the Star Wars weapons system runs on Windows XP Pro and some 5 year old kid hacked into it.

"AH, donīt you have to be GROUNDED for lightning to kill you? If the birds were in flight then WTF?"

Lightning hits planes all the time. Also, lightning will go thru you even if youīre suspended in midair because it will take the shortest path to the ground.
