There are no WMD's in Iraq. Saddam and the former regime were wonderful people who would never have done something so underhanded as to have hidden them (in Syria with Syrian complicity).

This shows the possibility that the insurgents are losing if they are resorting to such drastic measures.

It also bodes a very disturbing possibility that they might have access to much more advanced types of weapons such as nerve gas, anthrax, etc.

Ther really sad part is the high ratio of innocents that were injured compared to combatants. It takes a really special mindset to justify that kind of thing.

Look at a map. You have US forces west of Iraq, east of Iraq, and a good part of the US Navy to the south. When you throw in the other air assets take a look at the overall broad picture from Iran's standpoint.
