Tsunami from outer space. Prepare yourself for unimaginable destruction.
I work as a research assistant at the European Space Agency in Darmstadt, Germany. I'm breaking all the rules in warning you, but it has to be said.

People everywhere are going to be in great danger soon. We have a sort of "Tsunami" approaching us, and the impact on the climate and infrastructure is inestimable.

Please see to it that you make the same sort of preparations you would in anticipation of a nuclear war. There are many survivalist websites that can advise you in this respect. You should be fully prepared by the end of the first week in March at the latest.

I wish you all the best of luck.

It's unimaginable because even computer simulations are not an exact science when you have so many unknown variables. That's why I ask you to prepare for something commensurate with the effects of a nuclear war. It's the only analogy that comes close to our referential framework.

It's not a "death cloud"; it's more like a band of energy.

First of all, if the impact will be "inestimable", can it also be that this will be nothing at all? Something is coming, but it would just pass without any major noticeable effect?

Secondly, can you please tell me what is the purpose of the ESA unit in Darmstadt (just to check if you really work there).

Thanks.

a band of energy that either simply...slightly move the feather on a bird...or wipe out large areas depending on where it hits.

it's an either or or maybe not at all as they've never knowingly dealt with it...so be prepared for the "just in case"...just in case.

enjoy!

Tell us something that hasn't been repeated on this forum three thousand times. And at least come up with something better than a German insider working for ESA. Fruit.

do you notice when the wind blows the feather on a bird now? do you notice when bombs are being blown across the world from you?

then i doubt you'd notice a thing.

Supposing that you really work for ESA, you could use a bit more scientific terms in explaining what is it that we're supposedly dealing with here. It's not like you would give away yourself anymore than you already have by (quite stupidly) revealing the location of your unit.

No it's not. That's easy. Here it is...

"The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up."

We are primarily engaged in satellite technologies and we are first and foremost concerned with the impact on our satellites.

As I said, it's been almost impossible to estimate the effects. The authorities always ask for a "ballpark" number whenever faced with an unknown, but it really does remain unknown.

Yep I second that, tell us all you know, what gives you the conclusion that it should be devastating? Elaborate already!
Technical explanations etc etc ...
