Radioactive Rain - Barrie Ontario, Grand Canyon, Melbourne, St Louis, British Columbia, London UK

On January 15th 2013 the sleet and snow were showing alert level rad readings in White county. Nothing was reported or reasons given. Just dance and play in the stuff as your immune systems fail and you get the flukushima.

February 7th 2013 in White County Arkansas the rainfall was measuring up to 326cpm or 9x normal background. Background levels in this area are 35cpm .
Exposure at this level will not cause radiation sickness or cancer in most people however, it can cause cancer in an unlucky percentage over a large group. It can also cause an immune system to be lowered in some, making you more easily able to get sick with other illnesses. Many will argue, but the fact is- There is no safe level of radiation, Not even background levels are good for you. Again, some people will argue and say it is actually good for you. Those same people also claim that no harm will come to Japan and the disaster has caused no deaths from the meltdowns. So who can you trust? Reduce your exposure and reduce your risk is my philosophy and I am not here to convince anyone, I am just reporting the readings and trying to raise awareness. It takes a more complex system to determine exposure and they love to confuse us with this. The fact is, it is not possible to give someone cancer with radiation, because the level needed to do that is fatal. Only lower doses over large groups has been shown to cause this. Immune system damage is another subject and has not been reported on very much at all.





It's "Radio - Active"

At the same location the radioactive snow fell in Arkansas the air filter was reading very high at 246cpm. Higher than a smoke detector that is listed as hazardous waste.
One thing noted is this level is effected by humidity. High humidity gives a lower reading. So this detector is most likely reading a daughter product of something else. Many will say radon, I am assuming because the get paid to do so. However, the fact remains it is only a guess.. the filter has to be tested to be sure. Anyone checking there own air filters should do this during low humidity. Is the area covered in some kind of hard to detect meltdown fallout? It's impossible to know without a much more intense investigation by a lab or maybe a $15000 detector that can measure the energy level of that radiation. Just be careful changing your own air filters, odds are this is not a local event to just White County Arkansas.

2/12/13 1PM CST Rainfall was showing a record setting level of over 500+ cpm. Over 15x normal background level. I can honestly say, this is the highest reading I have ever seen personally.
