Quoting: 141 Haven't visited Champaign (not Champlain i think) yet, but know 100% that it is the right one for me <3 Ok, but you didn't answer the other question, the more important one. Have you met this "soul mate" in person yet? If so, how much time have you spent together in person? Well, we have met yes... And also I am grown up, so know what my heart holds, but thanks for the concern You met in person? How much time have you spent with this person in real life, face to face, not just on the internet???? Yes, OP, we are concerned as Lisa sure is... Best to answer Lisa's question. |

America seems to treat it's immigrants well. We like to keep the image that this is a great place better than any place else. Parts of the inner cities and more densely populated staes are shit holes, but these are global as well. Culture is sadly lacking here. Europe has some great radio broadcasters, with classical format. These are mostly gone in the U.S. replaced with jungle muzac or other crap. The food is still the best in the world here sine we have a farming heritage. |

Quoting: 141 My wish is to move there, as soon as possible Have been looking at different sites of information, but am not all sure of how it all come together... So if anyone happens to know about stuff, like getting a visa to stay, achieving a work permit and such, I would be most grateful... Here in Denmark, where I have lived all my life, I work pay tax and all of that, and would just love to be a part of the community over there in a natural way... In advance thanks for the help :o) We're full, sorry. We all know that you are full, fat bastards. OP didn't ask that, OP asked for advise on entry to your country, not how full your fat ass is. It appears that the United Kingdom has little room to poke fun at another country since for obesity as you are waddling behind America in the number 3 position. At least you will be in the Midwest where the cost of living is good and people are friendly. You should google Champaign to see what the crime rate is like. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 24670039 United States 10/01/2012 09:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Do you have a profession? You might qualify for an H1b visa. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 858876 The easier alternative is to come over on a tourist visa and marry your "other half" and start the citizenship process. A "green card" is the start then three years later you could become a US citizen. <<< Getting a family-based Green Card is a two-step process. The first step is the "Immigrant Petition" which establishes that a qualifying relationship exists between the U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and the Green Card applicant. The second step is the Green Card application. If the sponsor is a U.S. Citizen and the Green Card applicant is a spouse, parent or minor child who is currently in the U.S., then these two steps can usually be combined into one. Otherwise, applicants must wait for the Immigrant Petition to be approved before they can move on to the Green Card application. >>> [link to www.immigrationdirect.com] Am physical Therapist (physiotherapist) by profession, have worked a lot in companies with anti-stress programmes and also meditation courses, done a lot of educating and also worked with healing, don't know if that will get me anywhere I used to be a recruiter of physiotherapists and occupational therapists back in the late 1980s/early 1990s. I worked at Medical Resources which was the first company owned by Michael McBurnie. He has been bringing foreign trained PTs and OTs to the US for 20 years on H-1b work visas. He now has a recruiting company in Colorado and I am certain he would be happy to help you as there is a serious shortage of physiotherapists in the US. His current company that he owns is called My Therapy and you can send him an email at: [email protected] Just explain that you want to work in Champaign, Illinois. There are some very good rehab hospitals in the Champaign area, as that used to be in my territory that I worked. You would need to get a temporary Illinois PT license, he will help you with that and he can easily find you a job. Or call them at (303) 258-0725, it's in the same time zone as Denver Colorado. There, problem solved. . |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 24670039 United States 10/01/2012 10:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | By the way, Champaign is quite a nice place. It still has the midwestern wholesomeness. There are several very large financially stable companies there so the local economy is relatively healthy. The University of Illinois has a large campus there. The arts community is VERY active there. The weather is pretty good, a little too humid in the summer but it's a nice and pretty area. Flat as a pancake though... |

In advance thanks for the help :o) WILKOMMEN! Or whatever :P I am American and have some Danske friends. Not kidding they ALL moved back to Daneland from the US. Yes, Daneland takes more taxes and the shirtless, saggy hippy pukes are always demanding more free shit, but America will shock you to your bones. The people are disgusting. The culture is disgusting and the food is even more disgusting than Danish food. The climate is nice, however. There is no place in the US where you will get 0 degrees C and 40 knot wind in August :) Everything is made from shit and plastic. To find a nice, wood home is like finding hens teeth. Public transport does not exist. Milk here tastes like cardboard. Bread is like styrofoam. Nobody can sail a boat. Women are all fat and men all think they hung the moon when they cant even scratch their ass or speak a second language. I recommend you get your American whore to move to Daneland. |

SilentlyKnowing User ID: 23725672 United States 10/12/2012 01:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You have a kind heart and I have read some of your threads. I think you really need to LISTEN to what the folks here are telling you, friend. The Earth Changes that are coming very soon are going to be....well...absolutely chaos for the States Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, ANYWHERE ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI....or THE ST. LAWRENCE SEA WAY. Love is a beautiful, sacred thing. Please don't put new love in the middle of disaster. I've studied what we are seeing slowly unfold in the way of Earth Changes (and I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT "GLOBAL WARMING" WHICH IS PSY-OPS) since I was 10 years old. I left Michigan when I was in my late 20's and have been searching for a "safe place" ever since....obviously, there ARE NO SAFE PLACES...all you can do is to take an intelligent, educated GUESS. I'm betting on rural Montana--in the mountains--away from major population centers. You haven't got much time, friend. BE IN LOVE...START A NEW LIFE IN THE U.S.A. ...BUT BE SMART. Unless she wears the "pants" in your relationship, you better start off on the right foot and be a strong leader in your love--she will NEED you to be the "hero"-- CAN YOU DO THAT? I just watched the movie "Six Days, Seven Nights" with Anne Hetche and Harrison Ford--cute movie about "new love." In the film...they are looking for a cell-phone tower on the top of this mountain to get help (*I won't spoil it, but they are stranded.) Ford's character starts to pitch a "bitch-fit" getting all upset. Hetche (who I just love) takes Ford by the shoulders. She basically tells him: "I need you to be the "brave Captain" here....I can't tell you how hard it is going to be for me if YOU LOSE IT!" You've been on GLP a long time, I know...so you KNOW what is coming down. Take it from some of us who have been into the Earth Changes/lemmings- over-the-cliff routine for years. Illinois is NOT a good bet. Not sure if Denmark woud be any better--I don't know anything about that country. Although this psychic woman gets alot of bad press...I still think that her site is one of the best "earth changes/survival sites" on the net and has been since 1991! Go there, and get yourself educated and prepared. I offer this from the bottom of my heart--I want true love to make it--it won't in the are you are talking about....PERIOD. www.earthchanges.com and www.zetatalk.com Now I can get my head chewed off by the sceptics.... but you know me...friend. Take my advice! Cheers! SK |
