I always arrange them nicely but it would be great to do something a little fancy for a change. Any Ideas? Haute vegetable couture etc... Is that Shakespear? Haha! That's awesome, I don't think I could do it though. The last one is really pretty, I'm going to consider it for sure, the cauliflower and broccoli outer ring is so pretty, it looks like fun too without having to take an art class. :) |

It was a colection of little pumpkins hollowed out to form bowls. All the little bowls were put on a big tray with the various vegetables in them. The one in the center held the dip and had the little pumpkin top lid for it. She had them lined with plastic wrap so the pumpkin flavor didn't get into the vegetables. I don't know if you really need to do that. |

You could probably pull it off. What's the worst that could happen? You make dip, cut up veggies and find out you just can't pull it off? Then you just try another arrangement! I don't think there is any cauliflower in the one I linked. The green on the bottom looks like its romaine leaves. You'd probably start out by laying the lettuce leaves down, then layer from the outside in. Really classy looking and won't look bad as it gets eaten. If your party is more country you could always use large widemouth mason jars to hold the veggies. [link to designindulgences.com] |
