His daughter Karin Halstead is also the EMS captain who stood down the EMT's, and his ex-wife (Karin's mother) was in the closet for 3hrs keeping the nurse entertained.

Poor kids didn't stand a chance with the Halsteads stopping anyone with any medical qualifications from attending the children lol.

This family is in on it up to their eyeballs.

Would that be Nancy Hammond that he helped out of her car with two injuries? Why did EMT's bring the injured to the firehouse? Why weren't the ambulances at the school?

Forget which thread it was on where it said that the kids who went to Gene Rosen's house tried the firehouse and the door was locked. This video he clearly states that he was there when the call came in. There was a whole dialogue about firehouses and whether they would be locked and people stating that if it was volunteer, they may have been at other jobs and only come in if there's a call. This should be posted there!

He helped her out of the car. No paramedics around, I guess. Why didn"t he carry her in his arms? No photographer around, I guess.

Just unbelievable. He's like, "Thank God it was only 20 children. murdered. It could have been so much worse." And, "Too bad it's for such awful reasons, but it's nice to have America's attention."

What person in their right mind would've said even one of those things, let alone both?

Honestly, I think this dispelled the last remaining doubt I had.

I think we could be seeing what happens to people when they're told something happened, and they accept it intellectually, but their subconscious senses something is wrong. I think that may apply to many of the participants that day--EMS, police, teachers, parents--they were told later that people died. And they hadn't seen the body of their child, nor the body of anyone else, nor any blood or carnage whatsoever. Maybe their subconscious is causing them to act in the strange way we're seeing, over and over. I do believe some people would have had to be in the know, but maybe fewer than we think?

Also think of how many ambulances and other emergency vehicles there were ... how many emergency serves personnel is that total? That's a LOT of official witnesses. I think many of those people were told about the bodies but saw nothing, and were then given gag orders ("for the sake of the investigation") afterwards. They know in their gut something's not quite right, but respect the gravity of the story too much to doubt it, and what little doubt remains is silenced by the gag order.

I would expect, over time, to see EMS and some law enforcement start to come out with their doubts.

Victim Chase Kowalski's grandfather, Tony Kowalski, is a past Monroe Fire Safety Police volunteer and ambulance driver for the Monroe Volunteer Emergency Medical Service.

I don't know yet if the Nancy [Bailey] Kowalski is related to Chase's family.

I'm keeping in mind that even if some (I'm guessing the younger) members of the family were in on something, many others (perhaps older members) may be innocent; I'm trying to remain respectful toward all the innocent. Many people in Newtown, and the surrounding areas, are no doubt as duped as the rest of us--and even more cruelly so, given their relationships to those involved.

Meaning, the Barbara Halstead who is the Sandy Hook Elementary School secretary, and who reportedly gave warnings over the intercom.

I'm starting to theorize that anyone who had an "active" role in the day--meaning anyone who was official reported as having an active role--may be involved.

Anyone quoted as doing something heroic, something noticeable, something concrete: "looked into the gunman's eyes (oops)," "gave warnings," "locked doors from the outside," etc. etc.

Only a tiny handful of the people allegedly involved that day at Sandy Hook have been allowed to say anything concrete, to give any facts. The rest are silent.

I think it's very odd that it's only the same small handful who are constantly quoted, interviewed and referred to.

At this point in fact, I'm surprised no one has said, "Why all the focus on only some of the children? Why such a huge deal over Noah Pozner (just an example) and utterly nothing about Madeleine Hsu? Isn't that a bit unfair?" And then an answer could be given that the family prefers privacy, but at least an attempt to be fairer would be made.

Think of the contrast, for example, between Robbie Parker and John (Long Fong) Hsu (Madeleine Hsu's dad). Not one single word, directly, from anyone in the Hsu family. They're utterly silent.

I consider everyone at that school that day to be "involved" and not one single person would have been at that school who was not a willing participant.

Possibly some of the kids didn't fully know what was going on, but all of their parents would have consented to them taking part in this staged event.

This was not an operational school on the day of the shooting, it was basically a stage set and only actors (or bit players) in the sandy hook stage show were allowed onto the set.
