**BREAKING TAMBORA VOLCANO ALERT - LAST MAJOR ERUPTION VEI 7 IN 1815!**
Doom on folks, well perhaps...

The alert has been officially raised after EQ activity.

This mother of volcanoes produced a VEI 7 in 1815.

It killed 10's of thousands all over the world.

It created 'the year without summer' in the northen hemisphere in 1815 due to ash in the atmosphere.

Crops failed and the northern hemisphere suffered huge famines.

This is a big one to watch!

Saturday 6th April 2013
Tambora Volcano, Indonesia
Tambora volcano, Indonesia was raised to level 2 alert (waspada) on 5th April 2013, after an increase in seismic activity. Tambora is one of the world's most dangerous volcanoes. In 1815 it produced the world's largest historic explosive eruption with the loss of 117,000 lives. The most recent eruption is not well documented, but occurred about 1967. A magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit 29 km NE of the summit of Tambora volcano on 8th May 2010. During 2004 a buried town was discovered near the volcano. It has been called the Pompeii of the East because of the preservation of human artefacts. (snip)

The eruption of T. can not be so powerful like 1815. It sleeps for only 46 years, it is impossible to erupt so much magma, lol ! paranoidwuhfaintlonghair

Kinda of interesting that the New Madrid quakes happened just 3 years before this.

In fact Wiki says that the first signs of activity prior to the 1815 eruption of Tambora were in 1812 which coincides closely with the new Madrid quakes of late 1811 and early 1812.

Strangely enough another significant event coincides:

Last perihelion September 12, 1811

The Great Comet of 1811, formally designated C/1811 F1, is a comet that was visible to the naked eye for around 260 days, a record it held until the appearance of Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997. In October 1811, at its brightest, it displayed an apparent magnitude of 0, with an easily visible coma.

This story is from March 6th of this year:

[link to newsfeed.time.com]

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — A recently discovered comet is closer than it’s ever been to Earth, and stargazers in the Northern Hemisphere finally get to see it.

Called Pan-STARRS, the comet passed within 100 million miles of Earth on Tuesday, its closest approach in its first-ever cruise through the inner solar system. The ice ball will get even nearer the sun this weekend — just 28 million miles from the sun and within the orbit of Mercury.

All seismic activity throughout the world is linked together by fault lines. An event in one area can trigger other events around the world if they are big enough. Compared to the size of the world those two places are not very far from each other. I'm not saying that it is guarenteed the volcano will erupt, but I would be prepared to leave the area just in case. The Indo-australian plates have been having A LOT of activity lately.

I believe, though I could be wrong, the ones we need to watch out for are Mammoth Mountain and the Long Valley Caldera.
It has had swarms for years and gases which have killed trees and such.
It would take hundreds if not thousands of years for Tambora's Chamber to fill with enough magma enabling it to erupt with the power it did in 1815.
Before the eruption. it was described as a huge mountain.
