The Real Mayan Calendar End Date (May 20th, 2016)
The Mayan Calendar is off by 3 1/2 years and I can clearly show you how and why. My theory is very solid. It appears the true Mayan Long Count End Date comes to a cycle conclusion on May 20th, 2016 (Gregorian calendar).

If my theory is valid, then we only might have 5 months left until all hell breaks lose and a new beginning happens.

A thread that discusses more about this time.

Thread: FIVE Months From Now! The Ezekiel's Wheel "End of Time" Grand Cross Alignment (June 4th, 2016)

And my theory research why the Mayan Calendar is clearly off by 3 1/2 years or 1260 days to be precise will come later.

More info soon...

Looks like I am not the only one that sees the discrepancy with the calendar.

Here is a quote on a CNN thread about the calendar from a reader:

"What if after these early calendars where written by the Mayans they, latter on, discovered the truth? Latter on as they advanced, they discovered that the world was going to end in December 2012.

But do note, that our calendar and their calendar is off by 3 years. So it could really happen on December 2015."

That was exactly the purpose of the december 2012 stories and even the movie: so nobody would believe it anymore..of course that date was wrong...

But there is a twist, Dec. 21st, 2012 is the correct end of Long Count date for the Gregorian calendar, but the true calendar we should be looking at for the correct date is the Haab Mayan calendar. I will explain it more soon.

But there is clearly a 3 year difference between the Gregorian and Mayan Haab calendar, and I am not the only one that has seen this difference.

Well it is interesting and you put a lot of effort into that linked thread so 5 stars for that one mate.

Like some have said i think most are burned out with the mayan thing and who can blame them. So much going on now (distraction or preperation?) that it seems unimportant etc.

But i will follow the thread and see what else you dig up.

Thank you.

You can Google "5128 years Mayan Calendar" and see how many results you get.

and you can Google "5125 years Mayan Calendar" and see the results you get there.

3 year difference between the two: 5125 years and 5128 years.

And I will explain more why there is a 3 year difference or 3 1/2 years (1260 days to be exact).

Re: The Real Mayan Calendar End Date (May 20th, 2016)
The baktun is 144,000 days.

There are 13 baktuns in the Mayan Calendar.

144,000 days x 13 baktuns = 1,872,000 solar days

Now the Gregorian calendar solar year is 365.2425

The Julian calendar solar year is 365.25

The Haab Mayan calendar solar year is 365

1,872,000 days/365.2425 (Gregorian solar year) = 5125.36 years

1,872,000 days/365.25 (Julian solar year) = 5125.256 years

and then here is the big difference....

1,872,000 days/365 (Haab solar year) = 5128.76 years

Subtract 5128.76 years (Haab) from 5125.256 years (Julian) =

READY........

=3.504 year difference and that makes 1260 days

Here is more...

August 11th, 3114 BC (Gregorian) = Sept 6th, 3114 BC (Julian)

and the end of the Mayan Long Count or the 13 baktuns which are 144,000 days each =

Dec. 21st, 2012 (Gregorian) = Dec 8th, 2012 (Julian)

Both the Gregorian and Julian calendars account for leap years. That is why the Gregorian is 365.2425 solar year and the Julian calendar is 365.25 solar year. That means, every 4 years or .25 + .25 +.25 +.25 = 1 leap year.

But the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years. It had the solar Haab calendar, which was 365 solar days.

The Real Deal: How the Mayan Calendar Works

"The second calendar was the Haab', or secular calendar, which lasted 365 days but did not account for the extra quarter-day it takes the Earth to revolve around the sun. (The modern calendar accounts for this fraction by adding a day to February every four years, the reason we have leap years.) That means the calendar wandered a bit in relation to the seasons."

[link to www.livescience.com]

So researchers trying to figure out the Mayan calendar end date end up using a calendar, both the Julian and Gregorian, which include leap years and the Mayan Haab solar calendar doesn't???? Now that doesn't make any sense to try to calculate the true end date!!!

Re: The Real Mayan Calendar End Date (May 20th, 2016)
"Whenever we study another culture, we risk assuming that its members have the same priorities as we do. That risk may be greater when we study their calendar, because “everyone knows what a calendar is for”. The following, from archaeoastronomer Anthony Aveni, might be good to keep in mind as you read about the Maya calendar:

Slippage between the 365-day year count and the actual year of 365.2422 days, measured by the annual course of the sun in the sky, did not seem to matter to the Maya. They did not on certain occasions add days to the year count, as we do with leap years to keep our holidays from sliding backward through the seasons. What if Christmas retreated into autumn or the Fourth of July backed up into the cold of winter? For reasons we will probably never know, the Maya seemed to place more emphasis on an unbroken chain of time, as they did with the tzolkin. They were different from us."

[link to zorkmids.com]

As you see above and read what archaeostronmer, Anthony Aveni has said, the Mayans didn't care about leap years or what the Gregorian and Julian calendar has to say for that matter. They placed emphasis on an unbroken chain of time as Aveni stated.

So why in the world are we calculating the Mayan calendar based on the Gregorian and Julian calendar system of 365.2425 solar days and 365.25 solar days, both that take in account of leap years into the equation?

It would make sense that if we are trying to get to the true end of the Mayan end date cycle or the 13th, 144,000 baktun cycle you would be calculating it based on their 365 day Haab solar calendar that doesn't reflect leap years.

Does this make sense?

Thus, this Mayan end date of Dec. 21st, 2012 (Gregorian) is all fucked up! In theory it is correct using the Gregorian solar year but it is not the true date.

The real end date is 1260 days later from Dec. 21st, 2012 using the Haab solar calendar, non leap year Mayan calendar.

And 1260 days later, we arrive at June 3rd, 2016.

And there is a almost near perfect Grand Cross planetary alignment on that date (June 3rd/4th, 2016) that is extremely rare and actually no astrologers are even talking about it now.
