Glad to hear that Roman is doing better, and that your show was successful, Seer.

Fancy, the craving of non-food items during pregnancy is called pica. It's such an odd phenomena. Dirt and clay, even cigarette butts, are the most common amongst those cravings.

It's good that he ate more.

Dogs are prone to stress and anxiety, and just like humans, it can manifest as a gastrointestinal issue. I think it's smart though, that you still plan on taking him to the vet, as an ingested foreign body can be quite dangerous.

Interesting
That disorder happens with a small number of elderly people as well.

Some people in the deep south do eat clay. I forgot what it is called exactly. Can't recall where I heard about it.

Well, for some reason I delved into the belief system of the many men over time and what happens to them that cause them to believe in a skewed way pertaining to ishtar and golden age. The synergy of the two different lifestyle beliefs meeting cause the belief not to be seen correctly which then causes the man to act not on their beliefs going in but coming out of it. The skewed belief. So enacted wrongly over and over throughout time. The reason is simple, lol, but I'm not going to say right now.

And Seer, I hope Roman is ok, and thank you for your gentle words with me, I'm taking some time, calling it self health:) it consist of a green house, chickens(finally), and well, I'm going to throw my body into ketosis and try to beat this inflammation..so, I have plenty to keep me buisy.

Anyway, all you guys stay safe/sound and well.

Felt kind of liberating. Was teetering on being too thin there last summer but healthier now. Have been having appetite issues last week, husband too.

Chickens has been a theme today already. Fed them their daily bread. Sidewalk chickens. Twist on free range. Not sure anyone really eats them. Some may gather their eggs. Many feed them.

Yes hope everyone is holding on. Going to be a fun day.

Wonderful to hear. I'm glad you understand that I wasn't just being mean. Too much GLP is bad for anyone and it has a way of getting under the skin if you let it.

Breaks away to focus on more healthy activity is necessary to not get sucked into it all and find yourself 'off the skids'.

The lathe is an ancient tool, dating at least to ancient Egypt and known to be used in Assyria and ancient Greece. The lathe was very important to the Industrial Revolution. It is known as mother of machines

The origin of turning dates to around 1300 BCE when the Ancient Egyptians first developed a two-person lathe. One person would turn the wood work piece with a rope while the other used a sharp tool to cut shapes in the wood. Ancient Rome improved the Egyptian design with the addition of a turning bow. In the Middle Ages a pedal replaced hand-operated turning, allowing a single person to rotate the piece while working with both hands. The pedal was usually connected to a pole, often a straight-grained sapling. The system today is called the "spring pole" lathe. Spring pole lathes were in common use into the early 20th century.

Heeheehee

During the Industrial Revolution, mechanized power generated by water wheels or steam engines was transmitted to the lathe via line shafting, allowing faster and easier work. Metalworking lathes evolved into heavier machines with thicker, more rigid parts.

Interesting theory of mining for creating specific stones/rocks through separation of particles. Ironic then covered in mud, lol
Now I wonder about the cambrian radiation, not necessarily that long ago.

So I learned all about soil and the creation of fossils today. The fossil part actually causes me to consider the flooding mythology stories as part of the fossilization process because they were saying how the minerals and composition of the say tree or whatever it is being fossilized gets flooded with water first expanding the object.

Water also separates the particles of soil which is clay, silt, and sand that is fertile dirt as sands density is heavier than silt and clay the least dense. Said soil is basically rocks that are broken up through many ways. One especially being roots. But roots also is what causes the soil to stay and not get eroded. Interesting the technique of terracing on flat land causes that to be true. Mounds come to mind, lol

Inyan was considered a rock.

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

In Lakota mythology, Inyan (Rock) was the first of the powerful spirits. He existed before the beginning. He then created Maka and gave it the spirit Makha-akanl (Earth spirit), the second of the spirit beings and a part of Inyan. After creating Makha, Iŋyan was very weak. He created miniature versions of Makha, and her lover, father sky. Those miniatures were humans. This effort made Inyan hard and powerless. His blood became the blue waters and the sky.

And, salt water(tiamat) marshes is the nursery of the sea. That is where all the baby fossils are located.

Sandstone and dolomite togetherafro
[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

A major unconformity in the region attests that the Ozarks was above sea level for several hundred million years from the time of the volcanism in the Precambrian until the mid-Cambrian with an erosionally produced relief of up to 1500 feet.[25] The seas encroached during the late Cambrian producing the Lamotte Sandstone, 200 to 300 feet (61 to 91 m) thick, followed by carbonate sedimentation. Coral reefs formed around the granite and rhyolite islands in this Cambrian sea. This carbonate formation, the Bonneterre now mostly dolomite, is exposed around the St. Francis mountains, but extends in the subsurface throughout the Ozarks and reaches a thickness of 400 to 1,500 feet (120 to 460 m).[25] The Bonneterre is overlain by 500 to 600 feet (150 to 180 m) of dolomite, often sandy, silty or cherty, forming the Elvins Group and the Potosi and Eminence Formations. Withdrawal of the seas resulted in another unconformity during the latest Cambrian and early Ordovician periods. Hydrothermal mineralizing fluids formed the rich lead ore deposits of the Lead Belt during this time.[25]

Sedimentation resumed in the Ordovician with the deposition of the Gunter sandstone, the Gasconade dolomite and the prominent Roubidoux sandstone and dolomite. The sandstone of the Roubidoux forms prominent bluffs along the streams eroding into the southern part of the Salem Plateau. The Roubidoux and Gunter sandstones serve as significant aquifers when present in the subsurface. The source of the sands is considered to be the emerging Wisconsin Dome to the northeast.[25] The Ozark region remained as a subsiding shallow carbonate shelf environment with a significant thickness of cherty dolomites as the Jefferson City, Cotter and Powell formations.[25]
