Re: Get ready for the Rapture....NOW
Why do people believe so much in a book that is pure fiction. What did people do 50, 000yrs ago when there was no religion. They lived, worked, hunted and died....they didnt need a fictional book to tell them how to live. Good grief people wake up and smell the coffee

no book or religion needed to connect to God
If anything, they can be a distraction

Theres another gaping hole in pre trib theology.......................rant

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72093685

put No the only gaping hole I see is in your thinking.

The fact of the matter is that you are encouraging people to put off turning to the Lord with the false hope that they can carry on with their sinful ways for a while longer...and then get saved "just in time."

Also non of us can guarantee that we will still be drawing breath this time tomorrow. You will have to answer for that you know.

Re: Get ready for the Rapture....NOW
rapture as taken from st. paul.

1Thes 4: 15 - "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

•2 Thes. 2:1- "Now we beg you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together to him..."

reading this, it can be interpreted that any "rapture" will not occur until Christ second coming. in Revelations, the second coming occurs well into tribulation, which makes a pre-tribulation rapture a moot point! lol

Re: Get ready for the Rapture....NOW
Everything is on schedule. Nothing is being delayed. The Lord, by His Holy Spirit, is indeed revealing His schedule to all those who want to know and understand it.

“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off..." [Dan.9:25,26]

The seven weeks and sixty two weeks, in the above verse, are two separate time-frames and shouldn't be added up. That they're two separate time-frames is clearly evident, for the very next verse states "...after sixty-two weeks [and not after sixty nine weeks] Messiah shall be cut off..."

After the command to build Jerusalem the 1st time, 62 Weeks of 434 Years of 360 Days, or 156,240 Days expired, before the Messiah was born in 1 AD. The Messiah was born within a 360-Day Prophetic Year.

33 Years after the 62 Weeks of 434 Years had expired the Messiah was cut off, that is, He was crucified.

After the command to restore Jerusalem, a 2nd time, on the 28th of June in 1967, 7 Weeks of 49 Years of 360 Days, or 17,640 Days expired on the 14th of October 2015.

We're now IN the 360-Day Jubilee year within which the Messiah the Prince will be coming for His saints.

From and including: Thursday, 15 October 2015
To and including: Saturday, 8 October 2016
Result: 360 days
It is 360 days from the start date to the end date, end date included.

I'm expecting the Lord to come for us on any Day within this Prophetic Jubilee Year, between now and Saturday, the 8th of October 2016 - the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles! [link to thecreatorscalendar.com]

Re: Get ready for the Rapture....NOW
I'm sorry, but the rapture is just a fairy tale people believe in because it makes them feel safe and spécial. It's not real.

The rapture is not even in the bible. There's ONE verse saying people will be "caught up in the air" but the bible is NOT meant to be taken literally. It's all stories and metaphor. Most people seriously misinterpret what scripture means.

Nobody is going to magically float up into the clouds. If you genuinely believe this will happen, you must be very gullible. It's on the same level as Santa Claus...

If an apocalypse occurs, EVERYONE on earth will suffer through it until they die. At that point, whatever happens after death will happen. There are no super special people who will float away to avoid the suffering. That's just silly.

And there's a very good chance that nothing will happen in your lifetime anyway. Chances are you will just die like any other human at some point.

Of course, you could die any minute, so you should still try to stay on God'/ good side!

TL;DR: Belief in Jesus is not a magical ticket that allows super-special Christians to float away in times of danger and suffering. You die just like everyone else.

Re: Get ready for the Rapture....NOW
Christians just want everything to be simple and painless, and want to feel as if they know exactly what will happen.

Nobody knows what will happen. God isn't a computer that follows the prophecies like a programming script.

And belief in Jesus will not get you out of suffering or death in this world. Ever. Gaining eternal life in heaven and avoiding death and suffering in this world takes a little more effort than simply believing that a man died on a cross.

If SHTF, your religion won't matter. Everyone will suffer until they die.

And I bet it won't just be Chrostians who make it to Heaven. I think God cares more about the kind of person you are, and the nature of your heart, than he does about whether you believe a particular man died for your sins. That whole concept is just silly.

But to Christians who want an easy at out, and peace of mind, it works

FujiHebrewcoin The bible says that there is nothing new under the sun. The Lord answered this complaint about 2,000 years ago.

Mat 20:1 ¶ For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

Mat 20:2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

Mat 20:3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

Mat 20:4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

Mat 20:5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

Mat 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

Mat 20:7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

Mat 20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

Mat 20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

Mat 20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

Mat 20:11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

Mat 20:12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

Mat 20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

Mat 20:14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

Mat 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

Mat 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

You are wrong. Several years ago I went on a liquid fast, for both health reasons and also for wisdom. God revealed to me during this time that there is no pre trib rapture. I did some research and discovered that a Catholic priest wrote down rapture as a theory, centuries ago. Before this, I believed rapture for twenty years. After this, God showed me various scripture that assured me he would take care of his own, during this terrible time to come. Christians have always loved through tough times before, and this will be no different. We will not be magically whisked away before it gets very bad. These lies will cause millions to lose their faith completely when it fails to happen, think of it. Don't believe me? Seek him out uourself, and see. Do something studying while you are at it.

The 27th Bible Marathon reading on the steps of Capitol Hill begins today, the 1st of May 2016 at 18:00 hrs. It will end on the National Day of Prayer, on the 5th of May 2016 at around Noon. It just so happens that according to the Creator's Calendar the Passover Feast is also on the 5th of May 2016!

This cannot all be a coincidence saints!!!

As from Today we're in the Last seven Days of this Church Age, before Judgement falls on First-fruits, on the 7th of May 2016!

"...the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on in-corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on in-corruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. [1 Cor.15:52-54]

When our bodies are changed from mortality to immortality, Paul's quote: "Death is swallowed up in victory" from the book of Isaiah, will be fulfilled.

"And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory..." [Isa.25:6-8]

It's quiet clear that the above passage will be fulfilled during the Passover Feast [5th-12th of May 2016], which becomes the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Jerusalem, in heaven. This will be after we receive our immortal bodies on First-fruits, on Saturday the 7th of May 2016. [link to thecreatorscalendar.com]

"And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God..." [Rev.21:10,11]

"Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready...Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” [Rev.19:7,9]

Ah, the default mindless response that Christians give whenever anything threatens their beliefs.

Any time someone thinks for themself, they're called a false prophet, antichrist, or Satanist.

In reality, NO human knows the truth for sure. Nothing in the Bible or any other book is proof of anything. It's best to keep an open mind.

Don't take the bible completely literally. Try to understand it as metaphors and parables, and you will learn.

to discount prophecy is to discount the world we live in.

enoch, slijah, and Jesus Christ were all said to be taken up into the heavens.

to say that a description of an ascension is an impossible fanciful metaphor, then one must discount most everything of our mundane modern world as impossible. if u look at prophecy as science fiction nothing seems too far fetched! lol

no, the secular skeptics always have refused to consider possibilities!

Jesus returning from the Heavens and humanity meeting him in the clouds, might seem impossible. but then again it wasn't long ago that a man on the moon seemed just as impossible! lol

Yes, but not because of any good intentions. My wanting to be raptured would be based on greed, self-preservation, self-centered motives and self serving ambitions.

I'm just not convinced that would play well in front of Jesus. Maybe I'm wrong and it's every man for himself at this point but I have serious reservations that is the case.
