I don't use the apple cider gummies but both Mrs. Croc and I take a tablespoon of good 'ole apple cider vinegar (yes, with the 'mother') every day on general principles.

And the decorating was a matter of "do we let the somber mood and bad news control us or do we set our own mood.

Hence the decorations, etc.

Normally my wife is one to take the tree down pretty soon after Christmas. This year she said she wants to keep it up until at least Epiphany, which is fine with me.

Reporting in from CA.... yikes, it's gotten scary here... and fast! My county (Alameda County) was staying steady at about 100 new cases a day for months and months.... then, over the last two weeks, it started climbing. Today, we are reporting over 900 new cases!!

Of course the FDA says not to take animal meds... they are covering their asses. Most animal meds are the same as the human version... just make sure you are getting your dosing correct. I have saved my butt many times over with animal meds.

WW -- yes, most heartworm meds are Ivermectin, but some wormers contain other meds as well (the more broad spectrum wormers.) Check the ingredients on the ones you have on hand. I would think that the Ivermectin is somewhat protective for the COVID sniffing dogs.

There is some truth to the PCR argument .. Chris Martenson has gone over that science, too. If you run a PCR test at too high a cycle rate, it will register positive with even a trace amount of virus, that isn't necessarily indicative of infection.

As for the question about vaccines and temporal deaths ... it's a valid question. If you vaccinate nursing home residents, and then a few of them die -- was it the vaccine? Would they have died anyhow, as nursing home residents tend to do?

(2) Wearing the mask protects others mostly. Eye and maybe nose covering is probably more useful for protecting yourself. Hence, the rule is often that you must wear face covering. Protecting yourself with eyeglasses is up to you, but all healthcare folks I've seen wear them now.

Europe might have to start thinking about bringing back the November semi-lockdown restrictions already... or go even further than that.

Cases are starting to go back up in multiple countries, and a rise in hospital admissions will surely follow. This at a time when hospitals are still having to cope with a large number of covid patients from the autumnal wave.

Going to the dentist to finish the implants that got interrupted so I have two spaces on both sides of upper jaw. And the posts bother more each day where the crowns should be.

Looking forward to taking a European vacation this past summer or at that very least a trip to Wildwood, NJ to "watch the tram car, please." with my husband.

Larry, so happy to read you and the wife are keeping the traditions. I need to decorate my house and I don't know if I can: physically and mentally. I don't feel like celebrating atm.

Lago got to me last night. I can't shake the loss. Loss behind those sky-high numbers. As well as the people I know personally who are gone from this.

Maybe it's also because for the past 4 years I have been on a seesaw of life and death with my husband and the cancer and bouts of pneumonia that makes me edgy and why I started reading GLP in my spare time.

I have seen good and bad doctors thru the years. I never will forget arguing with a doctor on duty on the weekend after he hemmoraged and the regular doctor had said no plasma/platelets (he had had 3 transfusions due to the blood loss located *millimeters* from the junction of the carotid and jugular) and they went ahead and gave him plasma/platelets and he had a seizure, Idk what else to call it heartrate 185 on the monitor. you don't want to see that zigzag, trust me..literally I threw myself on him and begged God to please let him live as they disconnected the plasma and ran saline and brought in the portable heater with the special blanket so I could move and the shaking finally stopped...so when I read of others and see those images I remember this...it's f*king hell on earth.

I am doing everything in my power to keep him and myself alive with the best quality of life possible and I don't want to be alone or for him to be alone, because he depends on me...today he doesn't feel like getting up, so I have one eye out on him.

..it's just I know I have declined significantly this past year from last year this time. But we am alive, and I am grateful for that...I could say it would have been better financially for my daughter if she had got my life insurance policies, (which I fully believe would have been the result if not for this thread and the decisions I made because of the early warnings) but that she would have lost us both, and still may, sadly. But I still have hopium that things will change for us, that somehow we will survive.

Part of my issue at the moment pertains to a kitten, long story short, who now has a home. Not with me but because of me. Wandering outside and I caught it. The fact someone let it go out so young upset me.

Also the fact hubs with pnuemonia Jan 14th of this year; that was our last trip to the ER (3 days before this thread began) because they knew us and me, they sent him rather than admit him. But he was pretty bad, tbh. This fact plus general observations from last fall/winter make me believe this was released and where I am was a target. Palm Beach County...Maralargo and the two Ch women wandering around..plus PB has its share of international tourists...Fl WH had it awful early on, I know people working there...

The PCR article from ZH I am still looking over and comparing to numbers here..not going to dismiss it

There's posts that I find annoying and I'm sure some don't like whatever I may post. The Ignore thingie is a nice feature but even if you're an AC who can't utilize it, you can scroll past the offending individual's posts and choose not to engage.

I find some value in almost every poster's contribution and if not, well it is a thread open to all on GLP.

It will be easy to check. Watch the groups getting it first and the rate of deaths and hospitalizations over a couple of months.

Ik what happened to my mother when I tried to get her help years ago; it only made things worse, in that she lost trust in me and tbh, looking back now, she was right in alot of things I thought she was nuts about. I haven't spoken to you, Hrny, directly, but my advice that I posted once before is: if you can make peace with your family, your uncle or whoever, try to do so because there is safety in family....if you can avoid allowing them to push your buttons. I'm just now catching up after a weekend of being lazy, and I want to add that we put up our tiny little Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. It's just one decoration, but it's so pretty, and it makes me happy. I also have a little jingle bell ornament that I hung on the kitchen cabinet over the space where I keep my laptop and papers. It's pretty!

I joked the other day that we need a pitiful Charlie Brown Christmas tree since it's 2020, and guess what.....they make one! I ordered it today from Amazon. Lol!

I guess my point is that I agree that we all have some control over the moods of our home. I want mine to be peaceful and beautiful (even if it's just an illusion). :)
