so what should i take from this discussion? all black people are bad. all black people don't work. all black people are criminals. all black people do not have responsible parents. all black people are dirty and nasty. all black are to be avoided at all costs. i'm sure all black people enjoy your points of view.
The valuable lesson here is that racism is very well still alive in this country and with a potential black candidate for the United States mixed with hard economic times, the anonymity of a computer screen brings out that pent up racist ignorant filth
Truth is most black people are law-abiding citizens.
Truth is that class is more tied to crime and lack of morals than race.
Yes there is a disproportionate of black people in the lower class than their white counterparts.
But most black people are not menaces to society.
And the people who stir up the racial pot like the press and media are far more responsible for our hardships than the races they make the scapegoat.

I was going to vote for Nader but now will probably switch to McCain. Can't stand McCain but don't want Obama for certain. He is too conflicted about being bi-racial and I think he has a real dislike of whites, in general, or he would speak highly of himself as part white but he never does. He will refer to his white mother or white grandparents but he never refers to himself as bi-racial or white. It is like he hates that part of himself.
Plus if Obama did become the president, the poor, lazy Blacks (note, I am differentiating them from good, honest, hard-working Blacks - many of which I know) would demand and probably get even more handouts and their uncivilized culture would go unchecked. OP, I feel for you now - and for our country as a whole if Obama wins.
In high school there were a few blacks that chose to come to our school. They were alright, were there for an education, fit in, made friends, etc. Then within a few years, the school was overrun by a different kind of black - freeloaders that thought just because they transferred to a predominately white school, the world would owe them something and they would magically be the equal of people who studied or cared. The school and eventually then entire school district crumbled because they didn't understand working for something, they just wanted handouts, grades and were extremely disruptive.
I would vote for a black president such a Alan Keyes but I won't vote for Obama and all the baggage he carries. I don't trust him. |

Wow. Glad your neighborhood has progressed past the 1920's. Sir, I am here to inform you that your KKK membership dues are up for renewal. It's people like you that make America great! God bless, America... or at least the white Americans. I hope you are sensing the sarcasm here.

My middle class neighborhood has become a haven for blacks. I live in a home that's 3000 sqft and cost 165K, so homes in my area are similar in size and price. When I moved inm back in 2004 the are was mostly white, with some Hispanic people but all lived well together and was peaceful, children always playing outside, young families living here, park full of moms with their strollers, then fast forward to Hurricane Katrina and the influx of hundreds of thousands of blacks into Houston (which now looks like Chicago in the 90s, thank you very much) and now my neighborhood is at least 50% black. No more kids out in the streets (parents too scared to let them out now), black teens walking around in groups at all hours of the day and night, talking and cursing loudly or grown men hanging out on their driveways all day with their garage door open (hello people you have backyards now, you're not in an apartment anymore) and their 3 yr old toddling down the street alone while dad talks loudly on his cell phone. Don't these people ever work? I can't believe they don't work and yet they live in these homes and drive Lexus and Infinity cars. We bust our butts working and paying mortgage, health insurance, gas, groceries and the high taxes of Suburbia for our children to live better yet these people come live here and ruin our neighborhoods, on our dime?? WTF?
They're living 2-3 families per home and the worst part is they are living here in these big houses and they don't even have any furniture!! Talk about living beyond your means! They don't last long in the homes but the next inhabitants will also be black. Ugh... And yes, crime has gone up (our car was broken into TWICE on our own driveway in a matter of hours), whites and hispanics are moving out and i'm left in this beautiful neighborhood full of black people leasing and not paying taxes yet sending their 5 children to school with my kids. Hmmm... oh yeah I'm not looking forward to an Obama presidency. Thanks, but no thanks. I went from not caring about race to being wary of blacks. It sucks but that's Houston post-Katrina for you. I know you dropped out of school in 6th grade but I think they taught a little bit of algebra by then.
40% of prisoners are black according to the latest compilation.
According to the latest compilation of crime stats there were 2.3 million prisoners.
That would mean 920,000 were black.
There are 41 million black people in the USA.
That is only 2% of the black population. If you wanted to cut that population in half to 20 million, it would still be less than 5% of the total black population.

but, one thing fearful white people never consider is what obama's run for office (not winning the office, simply being able to run seriously for president).. what they do not even consider is the positive effect it has on black people.
it makes them feel apart of this country, not dumped on by the country. i have seen young blacks gobble up civics studies like crazy. they look at obama and not just say, but actually believe they can be anything in this country. they believe that the man can't hold them down, because it is demonstrated in such a way that has never been done before. is this something to be scared of? |

So a whopping 97.6 is not behind bars.
Cut 36.4 in half. That's 18.2 million.
Using the same stats that is only 5% behind bars.
That's 95% of black people not behind bars even if I skew stats heavily in your favor!

And yes, crime has gone up (our car was broken into TWICE on our own driveway in a matter of hours), whites and hispanics are moving out and i'm left in this beautiful neighborhood full of black people leasing and not paying taxes yet sending their 5 children to school with my kids. So a whopping 97.6 is not behind bars.
Cut 36.4 in half. That's 18.2 million.
Using the same stats that is only 5% behind bars.
That's 95% of black people not behind bars even if I skew stats heavily in your favor!

no. in 2007 it was . still very high and the highest for all races. but there are more black men in college than in jail. but that doesn't matter to people that hate black people. they look at the 25% and say that is the average black person. they don't care how much they insult the other 75%. Funny thing Alpha is that it's not just 75% it's 95% of the black population that is NOT behind bars.
But when you looked at deceptive crime statistics that point out the discrepancy between blacks and their counterparts one could easily believe it's closer to 50/50 ratio.
But that is not the case at all.
The fact that those statistics are not analyzed along the economic level further adds to the deception. |
