Acorn
Shit man on CNN last night and today they kept going on and on about Acorn and showing McCain soundbites.
Seems even they are supposed to prop him up. Obvious to me they don't want Obama winning under any circumstances but the momentum is already too great for him to loose.

PALIN GUILTY OF ABUSE OF POWER!! | Quote | Well, all things considered, A.C., the thread subject is different, and actually vindicates those who saw the type of person Palin is right from the beginning. This news is quite satisfiying and easy to associate with.
On the other hand, all those reports of people leaving McCain speeches early is an indication that the base of the campaign is leaving...in droves. GLP is really a microcosim of the world in many respects including support for a candidate. McCain's candidacy is definitely on the wane.
Like you, I've worried about Obama's safety right from the beginning. There are too many nuts loose who could do him harm.
Hey Polly, 5 hours and you've got more posts than The Officially Pinned Obama-as-Slime thread in 3 days.
Seems to follow with the undecided voters leaving the Palin-McCain incite to riot campaign speeches and supporting Obama.
However, I worry for his safety...really and truly. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 522645 |

It's called cronyism, and troopergate is just *one* illustration of Palin's cronyism tendencies.
Do some research - you'll find things like :
*high school friends being hired as director of the State of Agriculture - not necessarily with a skill set for that mind you...
*only, first she hires good friends, but fires them for personal reasons - then tries to bully others about them - like having her husband call the speaker of the house about HIS hiring an old friend of Palin's that SHE fired.
*a city changing its zoning ordinances so that the Palins could offload a house....
*putting pressure on the city council to fire the the city attorney after he issued a stop order on a house being built by one of her campaign supporters.
*Not so mention secrecy (oh, but she's all about 'open' government, right'?) : staff using personal email accounts as means to circumvent subpoenas seeking public records
I could name more (the whole librarian issue - another 'cronyism' issue - combined with her wish to impose censorship).....Do some research.....One thing about her - she appears quite smart and very savvy...but also dangerous! I will accept any rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them.
