Anonymous Coward User ID: 50923690 Ireland 12/02/2013 04:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Felt that way for years. Getting up early in winter isn't natural. Then the stress of the journey packed like cattle into underground coffins to get to an office with no natural air, artificial lighting... crap! Now I live in a run-down old farmhouse, no central heating, no 'modern conveniences' - yet I wake up full of energy, go out in all weathers to feed the horses and it doesn't bother me at all. Never felt better. Even when I visit London to see family now I find it hard to breathe the air; never realized how polluted it was when I lived there. |

If someone made a coin and it said, something like a bit trade dollar, if it was made to last, that would be fine. Each state could have their own, might swap out some goods, but use the coins in state. As long as you are able to supply your needs and the poor and widows, orphans and helpless, ever thing would be fine. Leave greed at the door. Solid things people can see work, and everyone does not have internet! |

If its too high its exhausting to be there. "The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title." Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 50857062 Finland 12/02/2013 05:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I try to push in atleast 7 hours of sleep in my schedule, but I still feel completely terrible when I wake up in the morning for work. Coffee doesn't work, and i still feel like a half awake zombie till afternoon. Only during weekends I sleep for like 10-12 hours like a ROCK and wake up feeling revitalised! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50868580 Sounds like you're simply not getting enough quality sleep. The often quoted 7 hour minimum is a statistical figure and does not apply to everyone. For instance, I require full 8 hours of sleep in the summer and 9 hours in the winter. Otherwise I'll become sleep deprived in a month or so and start burning out at work. My wife, on the other hand, does quite well with only 5-6 hours of sleep. Note that trying to catch up during the weekends does actually more harm than good. The key to good sleep is that it's regular. Go to sleep and get up at the same time every day - even during the weekend. That stabilizes your daily hormonal cycle (melatonin and testosterone if you're male) and makes you sleep better. There are other possibilities, too. For instance, if you snore or have sleep apnea (i.e. you stop breathing while sleeping) the quality of your sleep is poor. It is also reduced by caffeine intake in the afternoon/evening and even a glass of wine in the evening will seriously disturb your sleep. |

I got like that from overwork about 10 years ago and have been that way ever since. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38145955 You never really recover from it. Yeh back in the day of the housing boom was working 7 / 12's in the summer. Still could not keep up. Came home from work to take a nap and woke up from a coma a month later. Really never recovered. But it was a nice nap... When you wake up after a coma your very awake. I have been to... Last Edited by Neptune Fabman on 12/02/2013 05:17 AM ...Your Own Personal Jesus... |

Still, I could stand to be there at 9am instead of 7:30. I wish I could be doing the farm thing. Don't mind working my butt off, but want to be able to wake up when my body tells me to...not when "the system" does. In any case, carry on. What can we do? |

Possibly 9 hours of SLEEP, not just lying in bed. Plus, you owe your body hundreds of hours. Read "What you don't know about sleep" [link to relfe.com] |

Also exercising in the morning or mid-day is best. When you exercise you will sleep better, and hormones will be better regulated/balanced(Add Melatonin to your routine 30 minutes before bed, especially if you go to bed after it's already dark outide, or have been around screens and lamps/cellphones late at night). Eat smaller meals (so 5-6 a day vs 2-3). Get bloodwork done for everything you can (3-5 vials). If all come back negative(You may well be aneamic from parasite infection, which won't show up on tests, trust me the medical system is defunct when it comes to this!), try to get ivermectin prescribed to fight off possible spirochete infection(more wide spread then you have been told, possibly passed down through generations via mother to fetus transfusion). |

I know this may be over the top and gross but we are all only human. If your poo time is strained, something is wrong. Crap should be like soft icecream and be no harder to do then #1 and take about the same amount of time. If you are a 20 minutes toilet sitter, or have other issues regarding bowel function, please read the STAGES on this page, about 1/2 way down to get an idea on what is actually going on, and how to correct it. But i know so many people who have strange sleeping habits such as only needing like 4 or 5 hrs of sleep everyday to feel totally normal and also people who have to wake up real early and the morning and can never sleep in no matter what. Its all up to the individual person from what i can see. |
