Seen some weird reactions to tipping in the past. Waitresses with don't tip me or i'll punch you out type signs. Use to be totally foreign to our country but tourists have changed that. Most workplaces pool and divide them to avoid bloodshed.

At my restaurant, the pph is around 45-60. But that relies on servers making tips and getting $2.35. I'm down with charging the extra to compensate the wait staff. But now entree prices go up from $25 to $40 and all you're fellow servers need drug tests. Half are pilled out and half are coked out. You fuck up half your orders and cost us a $700-$1000 in comps a night

Do you work a job for free other than volunteering ? How are the people who are providing you service, that you chose supposed to eat? For starters, I would change the me, me me mentality. Look around and you may find a grocery store thus, ending the need for a restaurant which is way higher in price than putting a meal together yourself.
Try it for a week and see how much money you save and how many meals your purchases have provided for you.
