Extreme flash of light central Louisiana
Just had unusual bright flash of light, like a huge camera flash. But I am outside and there is no cameras around. Odd.

Earthquake precursor, maybe? Folks out on West Coast tell tales of seeing cloudless strange colored lightning (for lack of better term) before quakes.

Radiation particle passing through your frontal cortex.

Google it.
THINK ABOUT THIS!

The universe created life to be observed, without an observer, it never existed. So it is a mathematical proof that the universe created life.

Re: Extreme flash of light central Louisiana
same thing happened too me one night in the smokey mountains on US 441 between Gatlinburg, TN and Cherokee, NC
It was 3am or so. About halfway down the TN side of the mountain. Huge bright blinding flash. It seemed to come from everywhere including the car. I had to stop and get the spots out of my eyes. It was very bright, and my wife also saw it. It scarred us both so bad we would not unlock the car doors to go out and look around.
No other cars were around and we saw no evidence of hikers.
Rolling down the windows enough to listen outside everything was quiet, too quite not a sound of the normal sounds of nature, only the sound of the stream beside the road.
Clear skys, no chance of rain or anything.
That was 10 years ago and I still get spooked traveling through that area at night.
It is one of the reasons I now run to dash cams in my car 24/7, one out the front windshield and the other out the rear windshield. If it ever happens again I want proof of what we saw.

Very common to see a lot of weird stuff in that area of App mountains. Down in the low country there's the swamp gas gig which can play havoc w/ night driving. I've seen small, localized flashes in different places in NC and in a handful where I ruled out all logical explanations and left w/ some cases where I just couldn't figure out WTH. But not like a huge flash as you guys are talking about.
