Terrible Dark Dreams Constantly
Does anyone else constantly have terrible dark dreams?

It's been going on for years, it's exhausting I have many in a night of sleep they seem to have a similar energy to them all.

When I was a child I used to have happy dreams, and beautiful dreams, but now they are mainly just dark-themed. Once in a great while, I might have one happy dream but it's rare; some people don't dream at all so consider yourselves fortunate.

Does anyone know how to create happy dreams? because life is very difficult these days.

Meditate before sleep and focus on having only happy and fun dreams. Otherwise take some melatonin or drugs to stop the dreams.

I do meditate/pray before bed every night. Drugs and alcohol I don't do at all. Melatonin only enhances the clarity and lucidity of my dark dreams. I'm starting to think maybe I just need to ride the darkness out.

Take an aspirin before you go to bed. My great granny was a nurse and this was her cure for nightmares.

You're under spiritual attack,

Pray for intervention from God to rebuke and secure your home, you might be also learning about the demonic, God might want you to become a fighter against these unclean spirits.

Don't give in, light your house, don't sleep in thick darkness, go out and a walk, let the Holy spirit heal you and work thru you.

Clean your house of all items that feels uncomfortable and/or suspicious.

Pray and ask for wisdom about of these matters related to these unclean spirits, starting with what you need to do first to ease your daily life.

God bless.

I can tell you people with undiagnosed sleep apnea have these sorts of dreams. It’s your bodies way of disturbing you enough to hopefully get you to wake up and breathe normally again. Get that checked first.

Seriously. This.

OP two days ago I was telling my husband the same thing. Both of our dreams are usually bad. Sometimes I dream about gardens but usually they're weird, 75% of the time they're so dark and so twisted. I dreamed of emotionally draining and demonic things that are so vivid i have a hard time coming out of "dream world" when I wake up. I'll have a hard time waking up and just feel drained.

Its so many things. What you put in your body, the wifi, the times we're living in, etc.

I have dreamed from God sometimes but the darkness outweighs those. But I still never forgot the God dreams as those are what truly matters.

Also, were In the country and there's an entity in the trees that comes out at night next to our house and tries to stir up negativity in our home. I can sense it and it's made itself known. I ignore it now but it's there. So take that for what you will.

It's interesting you say this because weed actually makes me have more dreams. I'm very lucid and remember my dreams vividly when I wake up. Sometimes I can have up to 10 dreams in a night.

Sometimes it may seem like that but I can assure you it's not fun at all many times. The ones I really dislike are ones that are more like premonitions that come true in real life, not always exactly but very much related to my waking hours.

Consider yourself fortunate not to have this particular superpower. :)

I do know that mugwort tea and melatonin make my dreams extremely lucid and real, so if I'm trying to remember a recurring dream or something significant I'll use those two things.

And thanks, I'm sure at some point it'll pass. hf

My dreams are almost always set in a post apocalyptic universe (or sometimes moments leading up to some sort of mega doom).

Could be all the GLP I've consumed over the years.

Interestingly enough, however, I am rarely scared in these dreams and typically enjoy them for some odd reason. Also could be all the GLP I've consumed over the years.

It almost seems like they are being generated by something like a Hollywood production studio in the dream world putting out crappy dark-themed dreams because many of them have that similar/same foundation if that makes any sense.

I don't watch TV or movies because they do influence my daily mindset, just like I don't watch MSM or listen to scripted politics. For decades I didn't even have a TV in my house, but there are things I like to watch now, especially do-it-yourself shows and renovation videos.

I know it's not good overeating in the evening - this is the major biological reason for having hard, dark and heavy dreams with no decent rest, even though you feel sleepy and go to bed as early as the feast ends - but have no appetite in the morning. Mentioning this, if you, OP, have the same eating habits.
