The New Fire ceremony is when Pleiades is at its solar zenith and that happens to be on May 20th annually.

The New Fire ceremony happens only once every 52 years or a calendar round cycle.

The New Fire ceremony also has to do with the potential end of the world according to Aztecs.

Just so happens the true Mayan calendar date lands on May 20th, 2016, which I have clearly shown in my calculations. And May 20th is when the Sun-Pleiades alignment happens and when the New Fire Ceremony occurs. Coincidence?

After I saw that about the 1282 day difference, I Googled "1282 days Mayan" and saw a web site from a person that wrote about me (on another web site) and the 1282 difference posted a few years ago that I have never even seen before until now!

This person said this 2 years ago, during my theory that the calendar would come to a completion or end date of Dec. 16th, 2013. I just saw this today. I was still using the faulty Gregorian at the time but thinking that the calendar didn't include 0 year it would be a year later on Dec. 16th, 2013 or one tun later, 360 day from 12/21/12.

He saw my theory was wrong at the time, but now with my research, I am sure he would agree with me since it appears to be correct!

Here is what he wrote and mentions KeepItReal GLP member about his April 12th, 1988 Long Count end date:

"All I can say here is to wish Revelator Stargate well in his research Susan. He derives his biblical conclusions from a rather fundamentalist-orthodox perspective, which imo is very erroneous, but he tries to fit the dates and symbols in an admirable fashion nevertheless.

His December 16th, 2013 date is logical and just like your date Susan and no you did not 'steal his ideas', lol. The discussion he has about the 1988 date and the 8 Cumku Haab revolves all about the actual counting of the days and nights as his 'native foe' advocates.

This reduces to the simple fact that the latter does NOT accept the starting date of 0.0.0.0.0 or August 11th, 3114 BC. The miscount either way of 1988 to 2012 is so the same as 3140 BC to 3114 BC as said by this poster.

The argument of the solar year here is the technical manner of calling this 360 days or the Haab of 365 days. The native poster called the solar year as 365.25 days but then used the Haab to divide 5200x360=1,872,000 into 365x5128 years plus 280 days. A quarter day per year for this 5128 'haab-year' then gives you an error of 1282 days or about 3.5 'haab- years' or an error of 3.6 'cycle-years' for the 1300x4 '360-kin-year'.

The native poster uses the correct 52 year cycle, but seems to then mix up the number of kins per this 'year' and this creates the discrepancies. So he can't use 52x100x360 AND 52x100x365 as the same calculus, which I suspect he does in ignoring the mathematical consistency required. The error is 52x100x5=26,000 kin and for a quarter kin, this becomes 6,500 days or 18 years of 360 kin and 17.8 years for 365 kin. He then uses some other summation, I could not see to arrive at a 24 year discrepancy between the two kin counts for the solar years.

This creates the discrepancy between the science based 5125 civil years plus 132 days to the 5128 native years plus 280 days.

5128x365+280 = 1,871,720+280 = 5125x365.2425 + 132.2 = 1,871,867.8 + 132.2 = 1,872,000 either way.

So if you then simply say, that the 'civil date' is wrong by a quarter of a day every year as an 'unnecessary' leap year insertion, then 5200 OR 5128 years will create an error in the calendrical kin count, if you simply say, that this quarter of a day is 'missing' or absorbed by local conditions, as the native poster does.

It does appear the native has a distaste for 'Western practice of basic mathematics'."

Obviously a few others that I have noted on this thread can see there is a 3 1/2 year difference between the Gregorian and Mayan Haab calendar.

The Gregorian calendar that we use today is faulty. It doesn't accurately match the precessional cycle. The Mayan Haab 365 solar years does.

Again, basic arithmetic here:

13 baktuns of 144,000 days each or 1,872,000 days total.

Gregorian method is this:

1,872,000 days/365.2425 Gregorian solar years = 5125 years and 132 days.

From Sept 6th, 3114 BC using the GMT correlation to Dec. 21st, 2012 is exactly 1,872,000 days.

I then thought to myself, there is an exact difference of 1260 days from Dec. 21st, 2012 to June 3rd, 2016, which other people have noticed.

I then started to see research out there that some people were mentioning there were 5128 years in the Mayan Long Count 13th baktun cycle, and others were mentioning 5125 years. Obviously I saw there was a 3 or 3 1/2 year difference there.

So then I did this method not using the faulty Gregorian 365.2425 solar year but instead of the true Mayan Haab solar year of 365 days:

1,872,000 days/365 days = 5128 years and 280 days.

BINGO! A 3 1/2 year difference from the Gregorian to the Mayan Haab calendar!

So a difference of....

5128 year 280 days using the correct Mayan Haab 365 solar year with the 1,872,000 days 13th baktun Long Count cycle

MINUS

5125 years 132 days using the fault Gregorian 365.2425 solar year with the 1,872,000 days 13th baktun Long Count cyle

EQUALS

3 years 148 days

As shown above, there is a 3 years 148 day difference from the Gregorian calendar to the Mayan Haab in the Long Count Cycle.

Dec. 21st, 2012 plus 3 years and 148 days = May 18th/19th, 2016!

There is also another way to see this difference.

The Mayan 365 solar Haab with the 13 baktun long count of 1,872,000 days.

1,872,000 days/365 days = 5128.767 years

It shows 1,873,245 days or Gregorian days.

To calculate to the Mayan Haab correctly or convert it take...

5128.77 years which is a perfect match to the Mayan Haab of 1,872,000/365 = 5128.767

How you get 1282 days is this...

52 year calendar round is 18,980 days.

1,872,000/18,980 = 98.63 or 98.63 calendar round cycles in the 13 baktun 1,872,000 days period.

Now the Mayans subtracted 13 days every 52 years, kind of like a leap year.

A leap year using the Gregorian calendar subtracts 1 day every 4 years so 52 years/4 = 13

So the Mayans used a different method but it was more accurate for precession.

98.63 cycles or 98.63 cycles of 52 year calendar round x 13

= a difference of 1282 days!

In the movie Knowing, it shows the aliens coming or the Whisper people. It is thought that the Whisper people in the movie come from Pleiades.
